Does it mean ten years is not enough to give you the contentment of a good life? Why wait for the deadly symptoms to halt you instantly? What makes you think it is sophistication? This “kick” can cause anxiety and enormous strain to the heart.
Just by imagining what smoking can do internally is enough to put you in a slow-phased suicide without the benefits of heroism. If you have loved ones, how far can you prove you care for them if you will not stop smoking? This habit has robbed them of the budget and the good feeling that you are safe in the future.
Smoking out of gaining relief from stress will only haunt you with the idea of weakness. Smoking does not always guarantee to boost your self-esteem even though almost everyone lights cigarette after another. The world seems to uphold the long attendance of brotherhood of smokers, each sharing the joys of every sniff, chuckling on every good sensations of living. Free yourself like you are newly born. Stop smoking. In the beginning of life, nicotine is out of your system, but you let it in. There is no reason why you cannot control the addiction with most powerful weapon you have: MOTIVATION.
If you really want to quite smoking, you have to make it a goal. Make it an obsession by imagining a good place where you wander in a smoke-free environment. Lastly, you are not alone. Do not be too brave in a combat, motivate other smokers and be proud. Use the available smoking aids until you are free. Freedom is choice.
